This is a summary of the "evolution" of the RV park here at Sooner Foraker - I could only email 4 pics at a time so set up a blog so all could access it with all the pictures - worth a thousand words, you know!!  And this is probably overkill but here they are...

FIRST - credit where credit is due - Elder Leonard planned this out and did the legwork before anyone else was here to help.  He is a genius I tell you!  He and Sister Leonard laid it out after visiting an RV Park in Kaw City and taking measurements and layout.  In December dug trenches, hooked up water line from bunkhouse next door, septic and drain field and poured footers and sidewalk.

Put underground tubing for wiring, water lines and gas lines to each RV hookup.  Then laid a nice deep layer of rock in this mucky clay ground for parking spots.    About this time 4 more of us showed up to help, put in hurricane anchors,  -

moved in a 10 x 16 pre-made "shed".  Set the shed on two concrete footers and anchored it down.

Had to move a fence to keep out cows

Built a wall and divided the shed into two rooms.

Wired and plumbed the shed, put in insulation, dry-wall, texture and paint.

We have two little wall heaters, one electric and one propane - when power goes out we still have heat.  We put plumbing inside rather than in the walls as insurance against freezing.

Elder Leonard hooked up propane, did the wiring (service panel on the outside, used fish tape and ran wiring to each hook up and put a 50 amp service on one and 30 amp on the second.    So there is propane tubing and electric wiring at each hookup along with water connection at each "stand".

In the "wash house" there is toilet, sink, shower in one half; washer, dryer and frig in the other half.

There is a tankless water heater that works unbelievably well - lots of hot water for showers and laundry.

And here are pics of finished product after fine tuning.....you know - red door, flowers, fence....
ENJOY!!
